Terms of Service

Agreement

By using this website or the CASH FOR PC app, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy.

What We Do

CASH FOR PC buys used desktop computers. A free scan identifies the hardware inside your PC and you answer a few short questions about the condition it is in; we then make you one cash offer based on both. If you accept, we arrange a free local pickup and pay you in person.

Your Offer

The offer is firm as long as your computer matches what the scan detected and the answers you gave us about its condition: at pickup we confirm the PC powers on and that its parts match your offer, and when they do, we pay you the offered amount. The offer does not become final and binding until that verification is complete. You are under no obligation to accept, and it is always free to get an offer.

Each offer is valid for the period shown on it — currently seven days from the day you receive it. After that the market has moved and the machine needs pricing again, which costs nothing: run the scan and we will quote it against the market as it stands that day.

Before Pickup

You are responsible for backing up and removing your personal data before we collect the PC—we recommend a full Windows reset. By selling us a computer you confirm that you own it (or are authorized to sell it) and that it is not subject to any lien or loan or reported lost or stolen.

Payment

Payment is made at the time of pickup once we have verified the PC—in cash or the e-pay app of your choice. Ownership of the computer transfers to us when payment is made.

Recent Payouts On Our Website

After a purchase, our homepage may show the sale in its recent-payouts feed using your first name only, the amount paid, and the date — as described in our Privacy Policy. You can ask us not to include your sale, before or after pickup, by emailing offers@cashforpc.com.

The App

The CASH FOR PC app performs a read-only hardware scan and is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, it is provided without warranty of any kind.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CASH FOR PC's total liability for any claim arising from a transaction is limited to the amount we paid, or offered to pay, for the computer involved. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including any data left on a device you provide to us.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
